01. Zaxy Packaging
This identity for the packaging and point of sale for Zaxy was inspired by Valentine’s Day and was created by Brazilian graphic designer Camila Romais with designer Gustavo Mossini. We love the geometric take on the traditional heart shape – it really makes the product and illustrations pop!
02. Love Brew variety pack
If love potion was the bottled, beer kind we think it would look a little bit like this! Created by designer Staci Paul as a Valentine’s Day present for her boyfriend, she developed different label designs for each beer to represent its flavours and overall taste.
03. 30 hearts in 40 seconds
This video does exactly what it describes in the video – showcasing 30 different hearts in just under 40 seconds, you’ll be hard pressed not to fall in love with the direction. Featuring everything from paper cut to pancake heart shaped, love is definitely in the air in this video.
04. My Geeky Valentine

The universal symbol for love, the heart covers this beautiful Valentine’s gift from House Industries. This gorgeous replenishable Michigan-grown, kiln-dried basswood is embossed with hearts and heart puzzles in no less than 12 different languages, including Swedish, Spanish and Russian.

The series of Valentines cards by Lazy Oaf are perfect for people with a great sense of humour. This is just one of alternate designs to the many ‘I Love You’ cards on offer every 14th Feb. Probably best not to tick the ‘Not bad’ box though, that might be pushing it a bit!
09. ASCII heart necklace
Jewellery is a popular present on Valentine’s Day. But this is a necklace with a difference. This <3 ASCII heart design, which in online lingo represents a heart shape, is aimed at the internet-savvy. The sterling silver necklace was created by designerBecky Stern with love and lasers in New York.
10. Friend for everyone
This adorable ‘There’s a friend for everyone’ illustration was created by Greece-based freelance illustrator Girogos Vasileiadis. The vector artwork, featuring a loveable character and his balloon, is a refreshingly original Valentine’s celebration. Vasileiadis comments on his site: “Art is an opportunity for me to say things in fun and creative ways.”
11. Undies love
What better way to prove to someone that you love them than having a picture of them in your undies, right? The brilliant design was created by Chris and Greg of Hubbawelcome and is just one of three Valentine’s Day cards the creative duo produced, all of which are sure to bring a cheeky grin to any recipient.
The perfect Valentines gifts for a type lover. These limited edition blocks of maple are another creation by the guys atHouse Industries, the idea being for couples to buy both their initials, linked by a love heart in between. But they’d also make cool bookends if things don’t work out…
13. Love Ninja
Forget cuddly teddy bears, we’ve fallen head over heels for this little Pocket Ninja, designed by Chicago-based design studioShawnimals. The plush toy stands around 5in high, with his arms inward holding a heart for you or that special someone in your life.
14. Letterpress love
This fill-in-the-blanks card design was created by real-life couple and talented designers Jesse Mallon and Peter Borg. The duo have developed a whole series of Blank Collection letterpress cards. There are four other equally as beautiful designs to choose from, and, as you fill them in yourself, you can be as personal as you want!
15. Love Hurts
If Valentine’s Day is about anything, it’s about those cute little Love Heart sweets. The artist Zeus has used them for the inspiration for these gorgeous streetprints to promote his ‘Sweet Art’ show at London’s Graffik Gallery. He’s also giving out 50 “Zeus Graffiti bars” at the show, three of which will contain “golden tickets” which will entitle the owner to a unique piece of Zeus’s art.
